Ceek VR & Virgin Group

PROJECT description:

We do things best when we do them together, brand alignments are the future. Here at Witch it is our goal to bring together community centric brands to co-create a new world we can all be proud of. 

Back in May 2014 our MD Charlotte was introduced to Next Galaxy Corp, a cutting edge virtual reality company. In awe of this amazing technology Charlotte realised how this technology could initiate a shift in consciousness for the betterment of humanity so she set out to create a brand alignment that could transform the way we do business.

In June 2014 we proudly presented the aptly named  'AVA'  a partnership between NGC's Ceek platform and the Virgin Group that could totally transform brand engagement by offering fully immersive experiences that connect community with commerce. 

We proposed a partnership that will revolutionise the way Virgin does business and change the way we interact with technology. It would set a global precedent for embracing VR and AR technologies as a part of our everyday lives.

Mary Spio and Richard Branson have a similar energy and the two combined would create a positive dynamic, the partnership could be a catalyst for a remarkable change in the way human beings experience the Virgin brand. By utilising futuristic technology CEEK is the perfect platform for fully immersing customers in the Virgin experience.

Charlotte proposed the integration of VR for Virgin holidays, including tours and inflight entertainment with a customised version of the application for the Virgin brand. Within the proposal was a strategic plan for rolling out this transformative technology across the Virgin group.

  • Virgin Holidays - VR immersive technology in store - augmented tours and try before you buy experiences
  • Virgin Airways - In-flight custom Ceek platform offering immersive brand experiences in addition to in-flight entertainment and shopping
  • Virgin Galactic - Imagine a virtual trip around space. Using camera's above shuttles and footage from satellites, every day people can experience what it feels like to go Galactic
  • The V Festival - Fully immersive front row festival experiences with real time product tagging and shopping options for affiliates
  • Virgin Care - Utilising the immersive nature of the technology to teach and train in-house staff in addition to providing patients with entertainment
  • Virgin Media - Currently TV is still from a restricted perspective imagine a fully interactive Virgin channel giving customers the ability to chose their own TV experiences

Although Next Galaxy did not progress with the proposal, we think this is a great project to show how we think when it comes to industry transformation. Who knows maybe one day we will get to work with the Virgin brand on making this a reality.
